1. Agreement to Terms

3. Project Estimates and Contracts

All project estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. A signed contract and deposit are required to schedule work. Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection; additional charges may apply for hidden conditions discovered during work.

4. Payment Terms

We require a 10% deposit upon contract signing. Progress payments are tied to project milestones as outlined in your contract. Final payment is due upon project completion and your satisfaction. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

5. Change Orders

Any changes to the original scope of work must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties. Change orders may affect project timeline and cost. No work outside the original scope will be performed without an approved change order.

6. Project Timeline

While we provide estimated completion dates, actual timelines may vary due to weather, material availability, permit processing, or unforeseen conditions. We will communicate any significant schedule changes promptly.

7. Warranty

We offer a 2-year warranty on workmanship and a 1-year warranty on materials from project completion date. Manufacturer warranties apply to appliances and specific materials. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for: securing necessary homeowner association approvals, providing access to the property during scheduled work hours, securing pets during work hours, and removing fragile or valuable items from work areas.

9. Limitation of Liability

Make Your Home Shine Today' liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall first attempt to be resolved through mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
